Why we mint
Sport loses its deepest knowledge one retirement at a time. The box score survives. The method behind it does not. An athletic career is short, and the understanding it produces, the instincts, the reads, the judgment, rarely outlives it.
Sports Knowledge Ventures exists to end that loss. We work with pro athletes and world-class coaches to mint what they know into a permanent, verifiable record, captured in their own words and kept for the generations coming next.
We also believe the knowledge belongs to the person who earned it. Minting it does not sign it away. Ownership stays with the athlete or the coach, and it is meant to be inherited: what their knowledge earns should keep earning for their own bloodline, passed down the way a name is. A career is short. What it taught should still be providing for a family long after the last game.
This is the first entry in a working library. We would rather start plainly and build hard than announce more than we have done. More will follow as the work earns it.
